Refund & Cancellation Policy

Arlington Driving Academy, based in Arlington, Texas, adheres to state-mandated grading criteria (Texas DPS Standard COPS standards). Students must have a minimum of 70% required to pass the road test. Although we endeavor to make sure that students are well-prepared, we cannot assure a passing result.

Road Test Policy

  • The road test is non-refundable.
  • Make sure students need to produce all necessary documents on the test day.
  • For any inquiries or for rescheduling, we respectfully request you to get in touch with us beforehand via Phone or Email.

No Refund Will Be Issued:

  • If you are absent from your appointment without giving notice.
  • If necessary documents are not submitted to us.
  • If your vehicle fails the pre-test inspection.
  • If cancellations are made fewer than 24 hours prior to your scheduled time.
  • If you report late for your appointment.

Course Completion Timeline

  • Students have 365 calendar days from the date of purchase in which to finish the course.
  • Once part is completed or when the DE964 certificate is issued, the student is deemed to have partially finished the program and no longer eligible for a refund.
  • If all conditions aren’t fulfilled within the 365-day period, the student won’t get the DE964 certificate.
  • Refunds won’t be issued after the deadline of the course, regardless of progress.
  • Arlington Driving Academy does not offer reminders for expiration periods or course access duration.

Scheduling & Cancellation for Lessons

  • Booking a lesson reserves both vehicle and instructor for you.
  • Cancellations or reschedules need to be requested by phone or email at least 24 hours in advance.
  • A no-show fee of $25 occurs for changes less than 24 hours.

Tuition & Refund Policy

  • If tuition has been paid and the course has not yet started, or
  • Withdraws prior to starting, we can keep a maximum of $50 for admin fees.

Any balance for unprovided instruction will be refunded.

Full Refunds Are Offered If:

  • A student fails admission into the program.
  • The course is cancelled by the academy.
  • Enrollment was made with false or misleading representations.

Refund Processing

All eligible refunds are made within 30 days of formal withdrawal or termination.
