This policy explains what information Arlington Driving Academy (“we”, “us”) collects on arlingtondrivingacademy.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are

Information we collect
- Forms. When you enroll, book, or contact us, we collect what you enter, such as your name, phone number, email, the course or lesson you want, and any details Texas DPS or TDLR require for that course. On some forms, information you type may be saved even if you do not press Submit, so we can follow up on an unfinished enrollment.
- Payments. Online payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Website chat. Our website chat is answered by an automated assistant. The messages you type are sent to an AI service (Anthropic) to write the replies, and a copy is kept on our server for up to 90 days so we can check and improve the answers. We do not store your IP address with the chat. Please do not share sensitive details in the chat, such as license or permit numbers or dates of birth.
- “Text me back” requests. If you ask the chat to have our team text you, we collect your first name, mobile number, and a short summary of your request. We use them only to reply to that request.
- Online booking. Some lessons and road tests are booked through Drivers Lesson and Acuity Scheduling. Information you enter there is handled under their privacy policies.
- Analytics and cookies. We use Google Analytics and Jetpack statistics to understand how visitors use the site, which may set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How we use your information
We use your information to answer questions, schedule lessons and road tests, process enrollments and payments, send course certificates and reminders, meet Texas DPS and TDLR requirements, and improve our website. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the school and this website (such as our website host, payment processor, booking systems, analytics, and the AI service that powers the chat), and with Texas DPS or TDLR when the law or your course requires it.
Text messages
If you text us or ask us to text you, we use your number only to reply about your lessons, road test, or course. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts.
Students under 18
Teen driver education requires some information about the student. We collect it only to enroll the student and meet state requirements, and we expect a parent or guardian to provide or approve it.
How long we keep information
We keep enrollment and course records as long as Texas law requires. Website chat messages are deleted after 90 days. Other website form entries are kept only as long as we need them to serve you.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, unless we must keep it by law. Call or text (469) 550-1743, or use our contact form.
